Mauro Galetti was born in Campinas (Brazil), and holds a BA in Biology and Master degree in Ecology from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Cambridge in England. He is a Full Professor at the São Paulo State University (UNESP) and the author of more than 200 scientific articles. He is considered as the top 1% most influential scientists in the world and frequently participates in documentaries for TV and newspapers. Galetti lives between Rio Claro and Miami with his wife,  two kids and a French bulldog.
